Nurturing Nature
Championing Wellness and Connection in the Great Outdoors
At Wild Child CIC, we are passionate about reconnecting families with nature through immersive nature activities, forest school programs, and ecotherapy sessions. Our mission is to foster a deep appreciation for the natural world and promote holistic wellbeing with our nature-focused approach.
Our forest school themed playgroups, pop-ups and after school clubs aim to inspire the next generation of nature-nurturers.
Through hands-on experience, play and exploration, families and children enjoy a deep connection to nature and the seasons and develop learning of ecology and environmental awareness and stewardship, along with physical and emotional wellbeing benefits.
The forest school ethos is a child-led approach that is practical and promotes responsibility and positive risk-taking whilst nurturing our natural curiosity of all that is wild and free.
Groups are collaborative, guided by experienced and trained forest school leaders and nature group facilitators, and our regular sessions are designed to build confidence, develop skills and knowledge progressively, and encourage growth and resilience.
Founded by Ceri Elms of Elms Wellbeing and Claire Prosser of Black Mountains Forest School.
