Nature Activities and Ecotherapy in Brecon Beacons

Meet the Team

We are Ceri Elms and Claire Prosser, both mums of 2 Wild Children of our own, with a deep love, affinity and respect for the great outdoors that we want to share with as many people as we can.

We both live in the Brecon Beacons, surrounded by views of mountains, fields, water and forests and this constantly inspires us to explore, be curious and find new adventures and ways to immerse ourselves and others in nature.

This deep connection to our natural surroundings and to our community is the foundation of Wild Child and this passion and deep-rooted authenticity shines through in our work and events.

We are experienced and competent practitioners with over 7 years of experience in creating, running and developing classes, events and workshops within our community.  We are specialists and qualified in forest school, bushcraft, outdoor learning, forest bathing, baby and toddler activities, children’s yoga, mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

We are well known and established providers in the local community through our other businesses and professions. Claire has run Black Mountains Forest School for over 3 years creating playgroups, holiday sessions and walking experiences in the locality alongside her work as an Outdoor Education Leader.

Ceri has been a Perinatal Educator and Baby Massage and Yoga instructor for over 7 years, establishing her own business over 2 years ago, Sunflower Birth, Baby and Wellbeing which has now evolved into Elms Wellbeing to encompass more of the ecotherapy and holistic practices that she loves. Ceri provides mother and baby classes alongside children’s yoga, tree babies nature-based sessions for parents and babies, and hypnobirthing classes.

We always go the extra mile to ensure our classes feel special, well thought out, carefully curated, accessible and welcoming to all. We are always seeking opportunities to develop and grow the business and to foster a healthier and happier community. We are committed to helping families, children and adults feel connected to nature, to the world around them and to each other and believe this is where our real strength lies, as a community and as a collective.
